Nonsentensical

Actual sentence from a magazine article:

“I continually find it interesting that some things one person who knows the poker industry well thinks are absolutes are totally questionable to others.”

This was even used as the big blown up sentence to make you want to read the article. All it made me want to do was run screaming. Some people are born gamblers, others are good writers. Rarely does the Twain meet. It did with Twain, but not with Jan Fisher of Card Player magazine. Goodness!

Today I whittled down my list of best albums of 2002 to 10. One person who knows music well thinks that the music is absolutely good but the list could be questionable to others.

Listed in the order they are in front of me in a little pile:

Ben Folds Live
Porcupine Tree – In Absentia
OK Go
Robbie Williams – Escapology
Foo Fighters – One By One
Opeth – Deliverance
Queens of the Stone Age – Songs For the Deaf
Pain of Salvation – Remedy Lane
Peter Gabriel – Up
Andrew W.K. – I Get Wet

Tomorrow, in this spot, you will NOT see the list in order. I am doing APE tomorrow and then planning on heading west on Geary to see Lost in La Mancha.

I was taking the Live Journal challenge. Update every day before bed. Then I forgot. So I got out of bed and updated it. I hope you are happy.

Just wanted to see if anyone was paying attention

Really, that’s it.

I don’t even take the time to pretend to write anymore. Not a day goes by when I am not sleepy when I get home from another 12 hour day at the crap mines. Tonight I fried my brain with only a little Animal Crossing, the first half hour of Bourne Identity and about 30 minutes of assorted My So Called Life moments. Now I am thinking about going to bed and wishing I had enough energy left to read a book, but I know I will fall asleep immediately.

I still have an empty website at http://www.planetelgart.com – it is an embarrassment. I am the least creative creative person I know.
